How to prevent damage to precision parts during processing?

Jan 03, 2023Leave a message

With the continuous development of industry, we understand that various industries are developing rapidly, so in the process of precision parts processing, some damage may be caused, most of which are caused by our use, or may be due to processing In the process, how to prevent damage to precision parts during processing? Let's take a look below!
(1) Good casting structure design
The casting wall thickness is as uniform as possible to avoid hot spots and reduce thermal fatigue caused by local heat concentration of the mold. During the casting process, the corners of the castings should be provided with appropriate casting fillets to avoid stress caused by sharp corners in the mold.

(2). Reasonable design of mold structure
1. Precision parts and components should have sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand pressure without deformation. The wall thickness of the mold must be sufficient to reduce deformation;
2. It is the design of the pouring system to minimize the erosion of the core;
3. Correctly select the durability and surface roughness of each component;
4. Maintain thermal balance of precision parts.

(3). Standardize the heat treatment process
After heat treatment, the metallographic structure of the material changes, ensuring the necessary strength, hardness, dimensional stability at high temperature, thermal fatigue resistance and cutting performance.
Proper heat treatment process can obtain the best performance of precision parts, while the performance of steel is controlled by quenching temperature and time, cooling rate and tempering temperature.
