The machining accuracy of CNC precision parts is measured by the tolerance grade. The smaller the grade value, the higher the precision; the machining error is expressed by a numerical value. The larger the numerical value, the greater the error. High machining accuracy means that the machining error is small, and vice versa; the actual parameters obtained by any machining method will not be absolutely accurate. From the perspective of the function of the part, as long as the machining error is within the tolerance range required by the part drawing, it is considered that the machining is guaranteed. precision.
The size of the CNC machining error of precision parts reflects the level of machining accuracy. The larger the error, the lower the machining accuracy, and the smaller the error, the higher the machining accuracy; the main aspects affecting the machining accuracy: dimensional accuracy, the degree of conformity between the actual size of the processed part and the center of the tolerance zone of the part size.
Dimensional accuracy is controlled by dimensional tolerances. Dimensional tolerance is the allowable variation in part size during cutting. In the case of the same basic size of the mold parts, the smaller the dimensional tolerance, the higher the dimensional accuracy; shape accuracy: refers to the degree of conformity between the actual geometric shape of the processed part surface and the ideal geometric shape. The items for evaluating shape accuracy include straightness, flatness, roundness, cylindricity, and line profile. Shape accuracy is controlled by shape tolerances, and the shape tolerances are divided into 12 precision grades except for roundness and cylindricity, which are divided into 13 precision grades. Level 1 is the highest and level 12 is the lowest.
