Tell You About Milling Technology For Precision Parts Processing

Jan 05, 2023Leave a message

Precision parts processing is still widely involved in the industry. Why is there such a saying? In fact, we can see it in our daily life, the effect is obvious, and there will be more applications on some mechanical equipment. The requirements for precision parts processing are also very high, why is this? Due to the customer's requirements for product quality, and the advantages of this kind of precision parts processing itself, it is necessary to do better and make customers more trustworthy, which is what precision parts processing needs to do.

For the milling of planar parts that are summarized externally, the side edge cutting of the end mill is generally used. In order to reduce the traces of tool connection and ensure the appearance quality of parts, the requirements for tool cutting and cutting technology are very strict.

When milling summarizes the appearance of precision parts, the cutting point of the milling cutter should be cut and cut along the extension line of the generalized curve of the part, instead of cutting the part directly cut along the normal direction, so as to avoid scratches on the appearance , to ensure that the parts are generally lubricated.

When machining the inner contour surface of the milling cutter, if the inner contour curve allows extension, it should be cut along the tangential direction. If the inner contour curve does not allow extension, the tool can only cut along the normal direction of the inner contour curve, and its cutting and cutting points are selected at the intersection of the two elements in the workpiece. In the case that the internal elements are tangent and have no intersection point, in order to avoid the cancellation of the blade, there is a groove on the cutting corner of the blade, and the cutting point should be far away from the cutting corner of the blade.

It illustrates the tool path of milling outer circle with circular interpolation method. At the end of the rounding process, there should be no more than two tangent points, and the tool should travel a certain distance along the tangent direction to prevent the tool compensation from being cancelled, and the CNC lathe tool contacting the surface of the workpiece will cause the workpiece to fail. When milling the inner arc, the best organizational form of transition from tangential to tangent and from arc to arc should be followed, so as to improve the machining accuracy and quality of the inner hole surface.
